E.C. Henry

Thanks for reading the post and taking time to leave a comment, Dana.

I'm not down on myself concerning my English and schooling. That stuff's in the past. It's just part of what comprises me as a person. When I write blog posts I thy to give some context of the kind of person I am and where I've come from.

We all have histories. It's just in mine, I wasn't an ace at English. Still working on it. Back in junior high I got placed in an advanced level creative writing class, then when I tried to re-enlist the next year was denied that by the teacher. BUT of all those kids at Orting Junior High School from 1982 I'll be I'm the one who's written the most creatively. :)

It's all about how you present yourself. This post was supposed to be comparison piece between the process of making something to eat and creative writing, not a deep delve into who I am as a person or creative. Still, sometimes it helps to know where the cook is coming from.

"I'm a pretty bad speller. I was struck down and forced to go to a remedial English class when I attended a community college that was below 100 level."

Don't be so down on yourself. How did you do in school overall?
