Good morning, Shari! Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment.

Not too concerned about who Jake Fate is. When you come visit my blog and try to stir up problems I'm pretty adept at dealing with that. If people wanna be snarky and hide behind false names, that form of foolery is on them.

Got over 500 posts here now, Shari, so if you have a little extra time, let ol' E.C. Henry entertain you!

Shari

EC, just Google the name “Jack Fate”

You’ve been had… again.

E.C. Henry

Thanks for visiting my blogsite, Jack! Good to have ya aboard, sailor!

As for the spelling of Billy Eillish's name, who cares? She's WORTHLESS. Not worthy of being discussed. Bad on Zimmerman for even bringing the name of that foul creature into my house.

Yeah, things haven't worked out in my life the way I'd have like, that's for sure, but consider the times we're in.

Maybe it's all for the best. Like is spoken of in the book of Revelation when Jesus speaks to the seven churches, "Hold on to what you have, until I come."

Hopefully you're preparing your heart for the 2nd coming of Christ. Don't leave your fate to chance, Jack. Be a smart boy and put your faith in the Lord. No one knows the hour when He's coming back so be be ready.

Jack Fate

I like how you were corrected on the spelling, and then doubled down on being wrong anyway. This is a microcosm of why your life never panned out. Say hello to your wife and children for me!

E.C. Henry

Billy or Billie -- who cares? Billy Eilish is a complete loss as an artist. The lady always looks drugged so what does is matter the spelling of her/its name, anyway, Zimmerman.

If you wanna talk about losses like Billy Eilish and Bob Dylan, this probably isn't the place for that. I don't think highly of either people. The more you know about those two losers, the less you wish you knew. Neither are worth knowing given who and what they are.

Still, I'll pray for them, as without Jesus those two are both lost causes.

Zimmerman

It's Billie Eilish. You spelled her name "Billy," like the out of touch old man that you are...

E.C. Henry

What are you talking about, Zimmerman?

Zimmerman

ok, boomer.

btw, it's "Billie," not "Billy"

E.C. Henry

Good morning, Zimmerman. On my way to work so this will be brief.

Why are you calling yourself, Zimmerman? Are you doing this to mock me? As Bob Dylan's real last name is Zimmerman.

Jesus is able to break all holds of the devil. I hope the Bob Dylan, and Billy Eilish make their peace with Him.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The cornerstone on which we are to build the rest of our liver here on Earth.

Zimmerman

I watched that clip, and it's clearly a metaphor.

Dylan didn't sell his soul to a literal devil.

The devil in this case refers to the compromises one makes being an artist in a corporate atmosphere. Any professional musician, from Al Jolson to Billie Eilish, who has signed a recording contract has experienced the same sensation.

You're a writer, you understand the use of metaphor, right?

E.C. Henry

Hello, Zimmerman. Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment.

Did you know that Bob Dylan's real name is Robert Allan Zimmerman? So did you choose that handle to screw with me -- or is that your real name?

Bob Dylan ADMITTED he sold his soul to the devil in exchange for fame in a 60 Minutes interview with Ed Bradley in a 60 Minutes episode that originally aired on December 5, 2004. You can always look that up for yourself.

Luke 4: 5-8 "And he lead Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And the devil said to Him, "I will give You all this domain and its glory, for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore if You worship me, it shall be Yours."

Jesus answered him, "It is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.""

Old trick. Thankfully, Jesus > Satan -- and sell-outs like Bob Dylan.

Zimmerman

Bob Dylan didn't sell his soul to the devil. Where did you hear a thing like that?

E.C. Henry

Hey Poe, welcome to the site!

Thanks for taking time to drop me a line.

Glad to read you're familiar with Carson Reeves' Scriptshadow site.

As far as Carson "dissing" me, as you allege. I didn't take it that way. Rather, I'm honored that he considers our relationship good enough that he can mess around with me for time-to-time.

One of the things I've been working on in my comedic persona. A lot of comedy is biting. And there's always the need for a fall guy, or someone people feel comfortable making fun of. I've been working on that aspect for YEARS. I don't mind being someone else's punching bag.

You wanna be an entertainer, better be ready to get drink thrown in your face!

Poe

Carson Reeves dissed you in his latest Scriptshadow post: http://scriptshadow.net/screenplay-review-horsegirl/

Any truth to what he said?

Chris

Edie, I clicked that Garth Brooks link. You are a sick person.

E.C. Henry

I listen to my spec. script soundtracks mostly, Edie. Like most pop and rock music 1982-1990. Think the Black-eye Peas are fun, like most Journey with Steve Perry songs, like Janet Jackson from her Rhytmn Nation album.

Edie

To each their own!

Not for nothing Bob Dylan is the only songwriter to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. He was lucky that there's no Nobel Prize for Singing haha...

My favorite artist is Garth Brooks. This is his best performance of "Friends in Low Places": https://j.gifs.com/y42WXn.gif

Other than Taylor Swift, who do you like to listen to?

E.C. Henry

Bob Dylan wasn't popular when I was growing up, especially when I was young and immeshed in rock and pop music; which was from 1982 - 1990.

I think Bob Dylan's "time" was in the 1960s during the Vietnam War.

The guy sold his soul to devil for fame -- and he's not even famous! Talk about your all-time rip-offs. Dylan should ask for his soul back.

Even when I've listened to 60s stations I still don't hear any Dylan songs being played. And I can't name ONE Bob Dylan song. Why? Because the radio stations don't play his music, not even the ones that spotlight music from the era Bob Dylan was most active.

The bottom line is Bob Dylan is musically irrelevant.

Edie

Bob Dylan is still alive and making music, so he isn’t before your time. That’s just not true.

E.C. Henry

Bob Dylan is before my time, Edie. I'm very unfamiliar with his music.

I'll let Billy Mernit speak for himself.

No, I haven't written about it elsewhere.

Thanks for visiting the blogsite!

Edie

What is your opinion on Bob Dylan? What was Billy’s? Have you written about it elsewhere?
