These are some dangerous times were in. EVERY. DAY. You read about the riots in Portland, Seattle, or New York City. Minneapolis had there time with the George Floyd riot. I guess it all started with a social justice message: BLACK LIVES MATTER.
On the surface who could disagree with that? And who would really want to? Of course "black lives matter" why would you even have to bring something like that up?
Why? Because you wanna stokes the fires of division. Stir up animosity. You yell, "black lives matter" in our city streets if you LOOKING to cause trouble.
The civil rights movement was won. If you are a person of color or a minority you have unparalleled opportunity at any other time in our nation's history. YET by way some people are acting you'd think that were back in pre-Civil War times when slavery was in fact happening. Shoot the NBA is allowing social justice slogan to be worn on backs of their players. The Washington Redskins are now no longer even the Redskins. A victim of pressure, they dropped their last name and are now just the Washington football team. The black national anthem is being sung at some sporting events before the United States National Anthem. It's more in vogue now to knee rather than stand for our national anthem.
In short the social justice causes are all overblown and takes to polarizing extremes. What's the end-game. No United States of America, instead a totally different country.
Systemic racism. What does it even mean? Looked around on-line this was the most coherent definition I found:
The phrase "systemic racism" is used to talk about all of the policies and practices entrenched in established institutions that harm certain racial groups and help others.
Good definition. Clear. Concise. One I can understand. But one that DOESN'T accurately depict America in 2020.
Why? Because the Civil Rights Movement has already been won! And for the past 40 + YEARS American business and government has been working their ASS OFF to ensure that people of ethnic backgrounds have equal access to the American Dream.
The way I see it the social justice movement has gone WAY TOO FAR in promoting their radical agenda for a problem that is not real problem in America today at all. Rather, this is a fabricated crisis.
The way I see it, Black Lives Matter is cheap trap. Of course black lives matter! Why bother bringing this up in 2020 after all the strides we've made to the ensure that American Dream is available to all. To cause division. To stir up racial angst. When someone asks you, do you believe black lives mater; what they're really doing is BAITING YOU. Because if you say no, they jump and say you're a racist. BUT if you say, yes; they think you're agree with what their entire movement is about so are you?
Okay so how does this "peaceful" protest in Atlanta honor the memory of George Floyd or ANYONE else for that matter.
Here is Black Lives Mater in their own words from their own website. They claim they are all about black lives in need of liberation. I say that's complete bullshit! If you're black person in America today, you have better than at anytime in the HISTORY OF THE WOLD. And yet these jokers are protesting night and day like their is a constant threat on their life, which THEIR ISN'T. The black lives matter phrase shouldn't result in cities being burnt down, INNOCENT people losing their business, and people in cities being terrorized.
I don't have a lot of experience with people of color. Nothing against them, they just haven't been in my immediate circle of family or business. But I don't think any less of them as human being. In fact some African-Americans are truly outstanding people. People more loving and smarter than me. People who are American entrepreneurs living the America Dream. Despite my highly favorable opinion of people of color one lady on Twitter had the audacity to call me the "epitome of systemic racism." That lady didn't JACK SHIT about me, but had no problem labeling me a racist.
I just had to laugh at that.
Wanna call someone a racist? You'd better have a LOCK SOLID case. Otherwise you're just being irresponsible. I don't virtue signal. I like people to make their own opinions about me.
And so the protests have spawned riots. What appears to be going on is that marching groups of people have a subset of agitators who really bent on causing mischief. I'm a fair guy. I don't think all Black Lives Matter people intend to cause problems. YET it's through this movement that some very damaging property damage is being done. If Black Lives Matter as a RESPECTABLE movement with noble intentions it would take action to MAKE SURE property damage and needless harassment of INNOCENT doesn't happen at the protest march.
Ted Wheeler: Mayor of Portland who gave a rally speech to rioters in his own city
Portland and Seattle are a mess. They have roaming protesters rioting and causing damage every night. And not only that now they're TARGETING the police: shining lasers in their eyes, throwing fireworks at them, trying to trap and burn them in building. You call that a peaceful protest. FUCK. THAT! And for what? NOTHING! I think all is an excuse by anarchists to shut the system down. Every time I see vandalism and graffiti, it hurts inside. And the sad thing is that this mess is preventable. If we had STRONG mayors in cities, we could get these cities humming again.
What E.C. advocates to eliminate the riots in the cities:
- Allow no mass gatherings or protests past 5 p.m. Make it a city ordinance. Wanna gather? Gotta do it in the daylight.
- Don't allow people to wear masks at protest gatherings. Make it known that if you wanna gather, you will be watched by law enforcement for possible violaters of the law, and as such you are not allowed to wear a face covering at legal protests.
- All protests must be approved by the city in advance and permitted for a certain time. This will allow for appropriate police support and coverage.
- Ban vandals from the city. If you are found to vandalize a building or defacing someone else's property the vilolator gets banned from the city for a year, and must pay to make amends.
- Enable police to billy club the unruly who refuse to disperse and obey instruction after three attempts at trying to reach them via bullhorn. There needs to be ESTABLISHED reprocussions for failing to follow orders from the police.
There, FIVE simple suggestions to bring rule, law, and normalcy to our city streets. Got suggestions for improvement or wanna challenge that, I have an open comment section. I'm always honing my beliefs, so I do listen to input from other. But something clearly needs to be done, and I don't think in the facing of rising violence the answer is de-funding the police.
So in closing if you are African-American, or any other minority, know that you are loved. You are an important part of the American story. We're all in this together.
In closing I'd like to end with something a little different. The moving speeches at the 2020 Republican National Convention Speeches. Most of them are from black people, but I just see them as GOOD Americans:
