E.C. Henry turned 42 just the other day -- June 10th that is. Born June 10, 1969 in sunny Illinois at the Hinsdale hospital. Was it sunny on the day I was born? Yeah sure, I'm claimin' it. The kid is bright after all so it only follows that it would be sunny on the day I was born! Yuck, yuck: hammy joke inference for those not playing along at home.
Spent yesterday at the Woodland Park Zoo in snny Seattle, Washington. Is Seattle sunny? Well not that day. But saying sunny Seattle, Washington has nice vibe to it, and I'm hoping that this becomes true. MAY post some pictures of my day at the zoo with my 3 year old nephew, Brycen, my mother: Donna, my brother Derek and his wife Brenda later. We got pictures on a digital camera -- but it's not mine.
Thougtht the zoo was really scaling back. A couple exhits were removed. Did like what they did with the Peruvian pengins. THAT is the coolest exhibit at the Woodland Park Zoo -- in my opinion -- as they have Plexiglass water cut-outs where you can actaully watch the pengins swim and waddle about their rock surface environment at the same time. VERY WELL designed. Even Chilly Willy would be pleased happy wit 'dat.
Got this weekend off work. Planning on doing a lot of editing on "Puppies? Puppies?! Puppies!!!" my latest spec. script. Got it down under 120 pages. Just tweeking sentences, shaping things up. Its amazing how time consuming line editing can be. THIS is the real grind in writing. I can spend an entire day wrapped up in line editing -- and not even know it! It's a totally diffrent disciple than dreaming stuff up... I'll post more on that later.
I also now know what my spec. script is that I'm going to write. It's a dark drama. My follow up to "The Judas Project", which I wrote 6 years ago. I'm going to start carding up that story and maybe a couple others too either today or tomorrow. My creative gears are turning...
So what's next? Back to editing for yours truely. Then maybe later today its off for BBQ at Famous Dave's, then look into buying a new twin matres. Wish I was buying at king size matress for me and the missus -- the the only drawback with that senario is -- I ain't got no missus! E.C. Henry is still single!! Holy shit-dogs, Batman!
See, even Bill Clinton isn't happy about 'dat. But hey, maybe he could help me in that department? That's a definate not. But E.C. Henry STILL being single, unattached, with no real romantic prospects on the hozion is a sad, sad thing. Definately worth a frown or two.
Okay, so I've lamented my singleness and oldness enough. Time to get back after it and do what writer's do: finish their shit! That's right stop yappin', stop procrastinating and get that shit done, Skippy! Okay I'm off now...
